This blog will feature my opinions on issues dealing with issues from a liberal view on : African-Americans,Women's Issues, Teen Issues, Childcare Issues. My Motto:"In my own work I write not only what I want to read-understanding fully and indelibly that if I don't do it no one else is so vitally interested, or capable of doing it to my satisfaction-I write all things I should have been able to read."-Alice Walker

Thought: Chris Brown Beating Rhianna Was Not A Mistake
I thought I would never write about the Chris Brown and Rhianna situation, but the recent support for his actions is really creeping me out. I've heard countless times on radio stations and read on blogs that people believe that Chris made a "mistake"and he's still a boy and not yet a man. Its sounds like they're saying, metaphorically, he went to the grocery store and bought apples instead of oranges like he was supposed to. He made a mistake but its okay (sarcasm). Beating another person is not a mistake. I don't hate Chris Brown, given his family history of abuse, I feel sorry for him viewing his mother being physically abused and continuing the tradition towards his girlfriend. I hope he receives counseling or what every form of therapy that will help prevent him from hitting other women But I don't think he should get a pass because he is only 20 and a celebrity.
